I will begin my explanation by start explaining what is a load cell and what are its major operations. A load cell is interior part of a load weighing system. Which is used to measure the volume of the load. The load can be of any form. In the load cell that is used in the industrial operation there are two types they are the compression load cell and the shear beam load cell. The compression load cell is yet another transducer which is used to measure the weight of the load. It is totally different from the shear beam load cell.

In this shear beam load cell there are two types they are the single ended shear beam load cell and the double ended shear beam load cell. In the single ended shear the load cell one end of the machine will be suspended and at the other end the load will be applied, whereas in the compression beam load cell both the ends of the machine will be mounted and the load will be applied at the middle of the machine.
